Modern Europe Colloquium: Rita Chin, Michigan University
Professor Chin is working on a comparative analysis of the politics of multiculturalism in Europe. Her current book project raises the question of how and when Europe became multicultural, with particular attention to the challenges a multicultural society has generated. The themes of Islam and gender play a central role.
