Jonathan Greenacre is an Assistant Professor at Boston University (profile here). He uses insights from contract theory and New Institutional Economics to study the contracts that firms use with agents to provide mobile money, clean energy, and agricultural services across Africa. One of these firms is Hello Tractor, which provides an 'Uber for Tractors' service to African farmers (information here). He has advised and worked with the United Nations, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and central banks in Africa and the Pacific. Dr Greenacre has a PhD from Oxford University.
