Yale Africa–China Symposium: Special Issue Announcement

Organized by the Yale Council on African Studies and hosted at Eduardo Mondlane University in Maputo, Mozambique (14–15 March 2024), the Yale Africa–China Symposium: Cultural Dimensions convened scholars to foreground the cultural and humanistic perspectives—literature, visual art, music, film, popular performance, and other expressive forms—that are often sidelined in debates about Africa–China relations. 

A special issue of the African Studies Review featuring papers from the symposium has now been published.
