Giselle Geering

Giselle is interested in promoting multilingualism and enhancing research collaboration globally through the study of the French language. French is an official language of many significant global organizations, including the United Nations and the World Health Organization.
During the summer of 2025, Giselle researched malaria vaccine efficacy in collaboration with the Institut Pasteur de Dakar in Senegal, a West African country, and values the importance of French as a means of communication in Francophone Regions globally, facilitating research and public health campaigns.
She plans to pursue medicine and hopes to work for Médecins sans frontières and other global organizations in the future.
