Zachary Isaacs

Zachary is an undergraduate at Yale originally from Stamford, CT. His research in European Studies is focused on Jewish history in Lithuania and Poland. He has a particular focus on population movements from shifts in political rule. He has also conducted research on how Jewish communities in Lithuania supported the Yeshiva movement by analyzing its social and intellectual impact. Zachary is also interested in the Caucus region and its intersection of culture, religion, and geography.
