The London School of Economics ASEAN Society will be hosting a joint event in collaboration with the Yale Council on Southeast Asian Studies regarding the effects of COVID-19 and climate change in Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on Thailand and Indonesia. During this hour-long session, a cross-national panel of speakers will be joining us to discuss the changing relationship between the pandemic and climate change, with a focus on aspects such as sustainable agriculture and the distribution of resources, and the challenges faced on a national and local scale when approaching ‘a new normal’.
