Event description:

People are consuming news in new ways every day. The old media landscape continues to evolve into an increasingly fluid digital ecosystem. We have seen fake news and attacks on mainstream media erode public trust in journalism, and bolster echo chambers. How do we ensure important messages and stories, especially in a time of crisis, reaches the people it needs to?
Please join us for a webinar panel hosted by World Fellows Program Director Emma Sky and 2019 World Fellow Nizam Uddin, Senior Head of Mosaic and Community Integration, The Prince’s Trust.
Panelists include:
Simon Allison, Africa Editor at Mail & Guardian, South Africa
Sarah Alvarez, Founder and Executive Director at Outlier Media, Detroit (USA)
Yusuf Omar, Co-Founder at Hashtag Our Stories, South Africa
