A colloquium in the Fall 2019 Slavic Colloquium Series- Performance and the (former) Second War, features Semyon Khanin, poet writing in Russian, a translator of Latvian poetry into Russian, and
Kevin M. F. Platt, Edmund J. and Louise W. Kahn Term Professor in the Humanities, University of Pennsylvania, discussing “Russian Poetry in the Eastern-European Contact Zone: The Orbita Group (Riga, Latvia).”
