Translation, Global Health and Social Justice: A Pilot Study in Namibia

Professor Polezzi will use the experience of the pilot project “Transnationalizing Modern Languages: Global Challenges,” conducted in collaboration with the University of Namibia, to discuss the critical role of translation in development contexts and will ask how working in areas of linguistic superdiversity requires us to rethink notions and practices of translation.
