Introducing the 2025–26 Fox International Fellows!
The MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies is thrilled to welcome the 2025–26 cohort of Fox International Fellows.
This year, 19 scholars from 17 partner universities around the world—including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Ghana, India, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States—have arrived at Yale to begin a transformative year of research, dialogue, and discovery.
This diverse cohort is tackling some of the most pressing issues of our time, with academic pursuits spanning climate policy, international trade, gender, constitutional law, diasporas, Global South middle powers, education, and international peace operations. Through interdisciplinary and transnational dialogue, the fellows aim to develop innovative approaches to complex global challenges while actively engaging with the Yale academic community. The Fox Fellowship is designed as a fully immersive experience. Over the course of the year, fellows will participate in enriching cultural activities and conduct vital fieldwork—building a lasting network of peers, mentors, and collaborators.
To kick off the fellowship year, the cohort joined the MacMillan Fellowships team for an orientation that culminated in a scenic boat tour of the Thimble Islands in Branford, Connecticut. This welcome event offered a perfect opportunity for new fellows to connect, reflect, and prepare for the busy and intellectually rich semester ahead.
