Marc Lynch is Professor of Political Science at the George Washington University and founding director of the Project on Middle East Political Science. His recent books include America’s Middle East: The Ruination of a Region, What is the Middle East? The Theory and Practice of Regions, and edited volumes including Order and Region Making in the Middle East, Making Sense of the Arab State, and The Political Science of the Middle East. He runs the popular Abu Aardvark blog and hosts the Middle East Political Science Poscast.
