Rifaiyat Mahbub

Rifaiyat Mahbub is the Program and Communications Manager at Y-RISE. Prior to this she worked for the Global Health team at Results for Development (R4D) and Center for Global Development (CGD). At R4D, Rifaiyat’s work primarily focused on reforming public financial management systems and tracking financing for health and nutrition to improve service delivery. At CGD, she worked on analyzing ways in which cash on delivery could be used to maximize the impact of health aid and increase the number of lives saved. Rifaiyat has also worked at Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA), where she managed a randomized controlled trial that studied interventions that could promote the adoption of hygienic sanitation practices. Rifaiyat has a Masters in Public Administration and International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
