Undergraduate Student

Sarah L. Ramos-Gonzalez is a current Yale sophomore double-majoring in Ethnicity, Race, and Migration and Spanish with an Advanced Language Certificate in Hindi. Outside of class, she is involved in Unhoused Outreach Programs and Educations (UHOPE) as treasurer and Yale Undergraduate Hispanic Pre-Law Association (YUHPLA) as secretary, with multiple jobs on campus including at the Yale Office of Sustainability and the Yale Repertory Theatre. As a Hindi student, Sarah is proud to have been a 2025 Yale-wide Winner and National Semi-Finalist of the non-native, non-heritage section of the Yale Hindi Debate (the only intercollegiate Hindi debate in the USA). She plans to use Hindi, English, and her native language of Spanish as a first-generation Mexican-American in her future career as an immigration attorney to create more accessible and equitable legal representation for immigrants in need.
