International Security Studies will co-host this week’s colloquium with the Macmillan International Relations Seminar. Scott Sagan will present “Atomic Arguments and Counter-Arguments: How Exposure to Conflicting Information Influences Public Support for the Use of Nuclear Weapons.”
Sagan is co-Director and Senior Fellow at the Center for International Security and Cooperation (CISAC) and Caroline S.G. Munro Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. He is the author of numerous books and articles on nuclear security and safety. Sagan is also the recipient of countless awards, including, most recently, the 2022 Thérèse Delpech Memorial Award from the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace for his service to the nongovernmental nuclear policy community.
