Tara Giangrande

Tara Giangrande is Program Manager at the South Asian Studies Council. Prior to Yale, Tara worked on funding partnerships with foundation and government donors at Asia Society in New York City. She has previous experience in administration at the University of Pennsylvania and in education and project management at several museums and arts nonprofits. She is currently finishing her MA in Sociocultural Anthropology at Columbia University, where her thesis focuses on the globalization of conspiracy theory in contemporary India. Tara holds a BA in Dance Anthropology and Art History from Swarthmore College. She is proficient in Hindi and has additional familiarity with Urdu and French.
