Alessandra Pintado-Urbanc
Alessandra started her PhD in the Linguistics Department at Yale University in 2023. She previously graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned a BA in Linguistics. Her research interests lie in the intersection of Psycholinguistics, Semantics, Pragmatics, Language Acquisition and Bilingualism. As a native Spanish speaker she has always been interested in studying the bilingual mind. Most recently she has conducted research on code-switching in English/Spanish bilinguals and has examines the role of language dominance in phonetic interference effects.
