Alexandra Ruiz

Allie Ruiz is a Political Science and Latin American major interested in exploring the evolution of democracy and state violence in Latin America, specifically central America and Mexico, and has this evolution has contributed to migratory patterns into North America. She has interned with immigration law firms in both Los Angeles and New Haven and is interested in supplemental her professional aspirations to pursue immigration policy with her academic inquiry into the region.
