Sean Dolan

Sean served in the US Navy before transferring to Yale, where he studies Mechanical Engineering. He has a strong focus on Latin America with a particular emphasis on Argentina. He has spent time studying in the country, where his research has examined the economic and cultural impacts of Peronism and the dictatorship. His work also explores the relationship between Buenos Aires and Argentina’s provinces, with special attention to Salta.  Sean is especially interested in Argentina’s current economic landscape and the role of potential investments, such as lithium in Salta, in supporting national development. Alongside his economic and historical research, he has engaged with the region’s literary traditions, studying authors including Jorge Luis Borges and Leopoldo Lugones.
