Book Prize Questions

Please read through the FAQs. Further questions and inquiries should be sent to macmillan@yale.edu.

1. Can I nominate my own book? Yes, self-nominations are perfectly acceptable.
    
2. I have a book being published in early 2026. Can I submit that book for consideration? No, books submitted for the 2026 book prizes must have been published in 2025.
    
3. Are books written in a non-English language eligible? No, in order to be eligible, books must be written in English.
