ESC Student Affiliates Network

Undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students at Yale University interested in topics related to European, Eurasian, and Russian Studies can apply to join the European Studies Council Student Affiliates Network.

The network provides students with a close-knit interdisciplinary community; unique opportunities to work with affiliated faculty and visitors prominent in the field; and additional funding support.


 

SASC Student Network

Majilis serves as a gathering point for undergraduate, graduate, and professional school students across the university who are interested in the study of South Asia.

Membership in the Majlis provides targeted opportunities to form connections with peers, guest speakers, and faculty through on- and off- campus events, along with other benefits.


 

CLAIS Student Affiliates Network

The Council on Latin American and Iberian Studies offers both an Undergraduate Student Affiliates Network and Graduate Student Affiliates Network to strengthen the exchange of ideas and build an interdisciplinary community through funding opportunities, working groups, relevant events, and more.

Undergraduate Student Affiliates

  • Small grants available for conference participation, research travel, and working groups

Graduate Student Affiliates

  • Open to Yale graduate and professional school students
  • Apply for funding to travel and conduct fieldwork in the regions
  • Work collaboratively with affiliated faculty, prominent visitors, and policymakers

 

CAS Graduate Affiliates Network

The Council on African Studies Graduate Student Affiliates Network seeks to foster an engaging, interdisciplinary community of graduate students working in fields related to Africa. 

A monthly Graduate Working Group Forum offers students a space to present research-in-progress and receive feedback from peers and faculty. The forum also provides funding for students to present at professional conferences and to travel for research essential to their academic development.
