Room Reservation Policies
Please take note of the following Luce Hall usage policies. Failure to abide by these policies may result in denial of future room reservation requests.
- Room(s) and furniture must be reset at the conclusion of the event.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in Luce 101 (Auditorium).
- Student events MUST be staffed by a Yale staff member.
- If food is served at the event, a work order request (with a departmental COA) must be submitted for custodial services ensuring the room(s) and bathrooms are cleaned and restocked after your event.
- External doors to Luce Hall may not be propped open. Our building is redlit and accessible only to those with an active Yale ID. Should your event include non-Yale guests, a staff member must be stationed at the door to let them into the building.
- Signage for your event is ONLY allowed to be displayed via stanchions inside the building. Stanchions are not allowed to be brought outside the building, and signs are not allowed to be posted on doors or walls within the building. All signs and posters must be removed and stanchions returned to their original location at the conclusion of the event.
