Dr. Ardi Imseis is Assistant Professor, Faculty of Law, Queen’s University. Previously, he was Legal Counsel and Senior Policy Advisor, United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (2002–2014), Editor-in-Chief of the Palestine Yearbook of International Law (2008–2019), and Human Rights Fellow, Columbia Law School (2001–2002). He also served as a member of the Group of Eminent Experts, the UN commission of inquiry on the war in Yemen (2019-2021). Imseis has provided testimony before the UN Security Council, Human Rights Council, and Committee on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, among other international fora. His scholarship has appeared widely, including in the AJIL, EJIL, Harvard ILJ, and Oxford JLS.
