Asia (Alena Yiv) and Vika (Shira Haas) are more like sisters than mother and daughter. When health issues lead Vika to be confined to a wheelchair and her need for romantic experiences and sexual exploration becomes more urgent, Asia realizes she must become the mother Vika so desperately needs. The film won Best Picture at the 30th Israeli Academy Awards, and screened at the Tribeca Film Festival where it won the awards for Best Actress (Shira Haas), Best Cinematography (Daniella Nowitz) and the Nora Ephron Prize (Ruthy Pribar).
