Henry L. Stimson Lecture on World Affairs

Created in 1998 to honor Yale alumnus Henry L. Stimson, an attorney and statesman whose government service culminated with his tenure as U.S. secretary of war during World War II, the Stimson Lecture Series brings to campus distinguished diplomats and foreign policy experts who have published books with Yale University Press.

Join us Thursday, December 3, 2026, for the Henry L. Stimson Lecture featuring Charles Kupchan.

From 2014 to 2017, Kupchan served as special assistant to the president and senior director for European affairs on the staff of the National Security Council (NSC) in the Barack Obama administration.
