Through our events programming, CLAIS seeks to create a space for Latin American art, literature, and history, for Yale, the New Haven community, and broader audiences. The upcoming year's colloquia series feature a music & soundscapes series as well as a film series to further center discussions on Latin American Studies research through cultural & visual art.
With support from campus organizations and local collaborators, the two series strive to provide a multifaceted platform for interdisciplinary research that is in dialogue colonialism, migration, environmentalism, and much more within the Latin American context.
