Agus Istiharoh

Agus Ferani Istiharoh is an English instructor at Language Training Center, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Hailing from Wonosobo, a charming and cool small town, Fera completed her undergraduate studies at Universitas Sains Al-Qur'an and her master’s degree at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta on full scholarships.

With a teaching career that began during her university days and continues to this day, Fera has taught students ranging from preschool children to doctoral candidates in English language instruction. Her current interest lies in the field of Second Language Acquisition (SLA), driven by the belief that foreign language education in his country still has significant room for improvement. Fera is committed to addressing the root issues in language acquisition, with the hope of enhancing the overall quality of English proficiency in the future.

Fera has a longstanding dedication to education, evident from his volunteer work teaching in remote areas, where she has been inspired to motivate children despite their limitations. She is determined to extend her impact and contribute to the advancement of English and Indonesian language education. For her, life’s purpose is to make a meaningful difference no matter how small it is. Make a move!
