Edward Cox

Visiting Fellow

Colonel Edward Cox joins Yale as the United States Army War College Fellow in the MacMillan Center. He specializes in civil-military relations and Southeast Asian studies. Prior to coming to Yale, Ed served for 27 years in various military and diplomatic assignments including an assignment as Assistant Professor of American Politics at the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. His most recent assignment was as U.S. Army Attaché to Pakistan.

Ed obtained an MPA and MAIR at Syracuse University (2008). His first book, Grey Eminence: Fox Conner and the Art of Mentorship, was the first biography of President Eisenhower’s mentor, Major General Fox Conner. His most recent book, Genuine Faith, is a Bible study on the book of James.
