Xinning Shao

Xinning Shao (she/her) is a double major in Cognitive Science (B.Sc) and Comparative Literature (B.A.) at Yale College. She runs a column for the Singapore-based newspaper Lianhe Zaobao (联合早报) and is the winner of the Seoul Players' 2025 10-Minute Play Festival for directing. Her translation of Liao Yimei's play Amber is the winner of the Richard Maxwell Prize for Translation and Translation Studies of 2026. Two of her original plays have been produced at the Crescent Theater on campus.
