Ali Touilila Ziani is a fourth-year Ph.D. student in the French department. His interests include intellectual and cultural history, Francophone literature, postcolonial theory, and popular culture. His graduate work is oriented toward studying contemporary immigration in the Mediterranean space and its subsequent cultural production.
