Hannah Barrios

Hannah Barrios recently graduated with her bachelor’s degree in philosophy. Her interests lie in connecting philosophical tools and research with social policy debates. She will complete her MPhil in Philosophy next year at the University of Cambridge. Her master’s thesis will focus on social media content moderation, the process whereby social media platforms decide which content users see, and which is removed. She will study the extent to which content moderation boards can be directly likened to state governments, and how that impacts the ethics of content moderation.
