Or is a PhD candidate at the School of Political Science, Government and International Affairs at Tel Aviv University. His  research focuses on the intersection between politics and law, with a particular emphasis on comparative constitution-making. In his dissertation, Or explores the role of civil society organizations in constitution-making processes. Through a comparative analysis of constitutional processes in Israel, Ireland, and Sri Lanka, Or aims to develop a comprehensive empirical and theoretical account of CSOs’ involvement. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and History and an M.A. in Political Science from Tel Aviv University. Or is also a senior researcher at Tachlith Institute, an NGO committed to developing independent, professional, and non-partisan, policy-oriented research. There, he is responsible for the program concerning democratic institutions and public administration reforms. Additionally, Or serves as a teaching assistant in B.A. courses such as Public Administration and Public Policy, Contemporary Political Thought, and Politics and Regime in Israel. Or is married to Shani and father to twin daughters, Sahara and Leela.
