Sunny Wang

Sunny Wang is a Master's candidate at Yale School of the Environment, with a background in wildlife conservation. She has worked extensively on the conservation of leopards, Yunnan snub-nosed monkey, and endemic species on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, China. Her work aimed to benefit both wildlife and communities, while also influencing policy and engaging the public in collaborative efforts to address the conservation challenges humanity faces today. Sunny's current research interests lie in the integration of ways of knowing, community engagement, and inclusive and equitable governance. Ultimately, she is committed to advancing innovative, collaborative approaches that bridge scientific research, policy, and community efforts to safeguard biodiversity for future generations.
