Annual Dinner & Alumni Speaker Event

The 2025 Fox International Fellowship Annual Dinner, held at Kline 14, featured Yale alumnus Dr. Jeffrey Mankoff (2003–04 Fox Fellow to Moscow State University) as the keynote speaker for the Alumni Speaker Series. His lecture, Russia and the War for World Order, examined the geopolitical impact of Russia’s foreign policy and the enduring influence of historical legacies on global security.

This signature event brought together current and future Fox Fellows, alumni, faculty, and donors to celebrate the fellowship's global community and honor its ongoing mission.

About the Speaker:
Dr. Jeffrey Mankoff is a Senior Associate at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and a leading expert on Russian foreign policy and Eurasian geopolitics. He is the author of Empires of Eurasia (Yale University Press, 2022) and Russian Foreign Policy: The Return of Great Power Politics (Rowman & Littlefield). A former adviser at the U.S. Department of State and faculty member at Yale, Dr. Mankoff holds a Ph.D. in diplomatic history from Yale and is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
