No End in Sight: The Unwinding and Afterlife of the Cold War in Latin America will begin the morning of Thursday, October 15 (with an optional film screening the evening of Wednesday, October 14) and conclude on the afternoon of Saturday, October 17. The conference is hosted by Yale University and Fairfield University. Pre-conference activities on Wednesday, October 14, and the sessions on Thursday, October 15, and Saturday, October 17, will take place at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. The Friday, October 16, program will be held at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut.
Getting to New Haven
Conference participants who are flying typically arrive at one of the three NYC airports (La Guardia, JFK, or Newark), Bradley airport in Hartford, Connecticut or Tweed New Haven airport. Generally, participants are responsible for the cost of getting from their point of arrival to New Haven. Options include bus, train (Amtrak or Metro-North), Uber, or private car service.
