Meredith Shepard

Meredith Shepard is a postdoctoral associate at the Yale University Council on African Studies. She received her Ph.D. in English and Comparative Literature from Columbia University in 2018. Her dissertation, “The Art of Reconciliation in Rwanda,” is currently being revised into a book project on the genres of reconciliation that recur across global post-conflict literatures. Her work has been published in The Journal of Commonwealth and Postcolonial Studies and Public Books.
