Tarana Jafarova

Tarana Jafarova works with Global Programs and REEESNe at MacMillan Center, Yale University. She previously managed the World Culture and Language After School Studies program at MacMillan Center and taught Russian and Urdu in the program. She also taught all levels of Urdu at the Center for Language Study at Yale. Prior to joining Yale University, she served as a lecturer and a researcher at Baku State University in Baku, Azerbaijan. Tarana holds a Doctor of Education in Higher Education Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi, an MS degree in Political Science from Southern Connecticut State University, as well as MA and BA degrees in Linguistics from National University of Uzbekistan.
