Prof. Lamin Sanneh will present Beyond Jihad at the State Islamic University, Jakarta, Indonesia

Prof. Sanneh will discuss his book Beyond Jihad, in which, he examines the origin and evolution of the Muslim African pacifist tradition, beginning with an inquiry into Islam’s beginnings and expansion in North Africa and its transmission across trans-Saharan trade routes to West Africa on a trip to Indonesia on January 10, 2017.
