Call for papers

Submission Deadline: September 5, 2025

Conference Theme

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the partnership agreement between Yale University and Sciences Po, the Fox International Fellowship invites Fox Alumni to submit contributions for the Fall 2025 Alumni Conference in Paris. As part of our new series linking together global alumni networks, we continue the conference theme, “Global Challenges: Interdisciplinary Voices Across the World,” which calls for critical reflections and insights on the complex and interconnected issues facing the global community. This series of conferences aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and policy-relevant research on pressing global challenges. The mission of the Fox Fellowship is to strengthen international bonds and promote mutual understanding by cultivating a dynamic community of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers. In line with this mission, the conference series seeks to illuminate and address some of the world’s most pressing global issues. In a world where traditional frameworks and borders are increasingly tested by economic inequality, environmental crises, geopolitical shifts, and rapid technological change, we must rethink collective strategies for achieving stability and development. This event will take place at Sciences Po, in Paris, on Monday, November 24, 2025.

We welcome papers and presentations on topics that reflect the diversity and complexity of global challenges. Suggested topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Colonialism and Empire
