From Airport to city centre:
The airport “Macedonia” is about 10 km from the city centre.
Public Bus: Route bus No 78 operates a regular service between Thessaloniki International Airport and New Railway Station in the city of Thessaloniki. The bus departs every one hour and it is situated outside the Check-in Hall.
The duration of the above route is about 45 minute with a ticket price of 0,60 €.
Taxi: A route from Thessaloniki International Airport to the centre of Thessaloniki city lasts about 20-25 min and costs about 12-15 euros ($ 20-25). Please remember that taxi fare will not be reimbursed.

From Hotel to the University:
On foot: it is about 30min walk
By public transportation: you should walk to Egnatia Street and get bus No 2 (A.S. IKEA- New Railway Station) and No. 14 (Ano Toumpa-New Railway Station) You get down on bus stop: University of Macedonia Campus.
By taxi: 10min ride, cost about 4-5 Euros
Accommodations:
All conference participants will stay at the Davitel Tobacco Hotel, 25 Aghiou Demetriou St.
You are expected to arrive on the 5th of June and depart on the 8th (Please inform us for different schedules). You will all be allocated into double rooms, which means that you are welcomed to bring guests (but inform us in advance).
If you would like staying for some extra days please contact directly the Hotel management, but make sure you get the special conference price.
Conference Venues:
The meetings will be taking place in the University of Macedonia Campus, 156 Egnatia Street.
The plenary session will take place in the in the ground level amphitheatre. The other sessions will take place on two first floor conference rooms (will be announced soon).
Tourist Attractions:
In the morning of Saturday, 7th of June, a guided tour will be given around the historical centre of Thessaloniki with emphasis on Jewish monuments. There is a possibility of organizing a second tour of the Byzantine monuments of the city centre, depending on demand. Please let us know in advance if you would be interested in participating in both or one of the tours.

Internet/Fax/Photocopying: conference participants should ask at the Registration desk for fax, internet/e-mail and photocopying facilities.
Please note that public spaces as bars, university venues, restaurants, etc operate a smoking policy in their buildings.
