Cinema and Migration Film Series: The Aunt from Chicago (Alekos Sakelarios, 1957)
Alekos Sakelarios’s hilarious comedy about a Greek-American aunt who visits the family of her strict and traditional brother in Athens. Soon she appoints herself the official matchmaker of the family’s four young daughters. The film screening is as part of the course “Cinema and Migration” offered by the Program.
