Cinema and Migration Film Series: Head On (Ana Kokkinos, 1998)

Ari is a young Greek-Australian caught between the traditionalism of his formerly radical parents and his unorthodox sexual proclivities. The film follows a day in the life of Ari who falls uncontrollably into a spiral of self-abjection. The film screening is as part of the course “Cinema and Migration” offered by the Program.
