“PSI, Debt Crisis and Prospects for the Eurozone”

Yannis Manuelides is a London based partner with Allen & Overy, a law firm. After studying philosophy in the USA (AB Princeton, MA Chicago) and law the UK (BA, MA Clare College, Cambridge) he qualified as a solicitor in 1991. He worked in France for over 5 years, where in 1994 he became a member of the Paris bar. Since his return to London Mr. Maneulides has worked on a number of ground-breaking transactions in Greece in project finance, corporate finance, acquisition and leveraged finance, debt restructurings, securitisations and capital market transactions. Most recently Mr. Manuelides acted for the Steering Committee of private creditors which negotiated with Greece and the official sector (Eurozone governments, EU Commission, European Central Banks and the International Monetary Fund) the Private Sector Involvement – PSI – for Greece.
