Orçun Can Okan
Orçun Can Okan is a Teaching Fellow in the Faculty of History at the University of Oxford. He received his PhD in History from Columbia University in 2020 and subsequently held a postdoctoral fellowship in Global History and Governance at the Scuola Superiore Meridionale (SSM) in Naples, Italy (2020–2023), before working as a Research Associate on the ERC-funded Moving Stories project at the University of Oxford (2023–2025). Prior to his doctoral and postdoctoral studies, Okan studied History and Turkish Language and Literature at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul.
