Hajyahia, Alaa

Alaa Hajyahia, a graduate student at the Meitar Center for Advanced Legal Studies, is also an M.A. student in Sociology and Anthropology at Tel Aviv University. She earned her law degree (LL.B.) and B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology there, both summa cum laude. During her Fox Fellowship at Yale, Alaa will be working on completing her dissertation titled "The Zionist Left in Israel: Between the Law of Return and the Nation-State Law." During the 2021 academic year, Alaa will begin her studies at Yale Law School.
