Flavio Prol

Flavio Prol is a Master`s Candidate at University of São Paulo Law School (2011/2014) and a Fox Fellow at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies at Yale University (2013/2014). His primary research interests are in democratic theory, legal theory, critical theory and macroeconomics. His dissertation explores the legal reforms of the Brazilian legal rules of the fiscal policy during the 1990s and the 2000s, focusing on the role of law and public discourses in providing institutional and accountability frameworks for political decisions on public debt management and macroeconomic decisions. Flavio Prol is also an Associate Researcher at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning Nucleus of Law and Democracy.
