Hector Mendoza
Héctor Mendoza is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at El Colegio de México. He earned his Master's degree in Economics from the same institution in 2016 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) in 2008. His academic focus encompasses health economics, applied econometrics, and public policy.
His doctoral research revolves around the topic of "Political Cycles and Child Health: Evidence from Mexican Local Elections." In addition to his academic pursuits, Héctor has served as a professor's assistant in Probability, Mathematics, and Statistics for undergraduate students at El Colegio de México. He has also contributed as a Business Intelligence professor at UNAM.
Before embarking on his Ph.D. journey, Héctor gained professional experience as an Analytics Manager for Supply Chain at an international pharmaceutical company and as a Data Analytics Director at a television network company. In these roles, he played a key role in overseeing the implementation of data analytics technology infrastructure, employing econometric methods to provide valuable recommendations to stakeholders.
