Jake Clemente

Jacob graduated from Yale College in 2019 with a double major in History and Economics. Jacob has taken Russian language for eight semesters, and he spent seven weeks in St. Petersburg and Moscow through the Yale Summer Session. He aims to combine his interests to research the economic theories of the Narodniki and their interpretations of the Famine of 1891-1892. Jacob hopes to publish his findings in a Russian academic journal. In addition to these research interests, Jacob worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Chris Miller at the Fletcher School at Tufts University. There, he worked with Professor Miller to design a course on the history of relations between Russia and the West. Jacob intends on pursuing a PhD in Russian History.
