Marisol Ruiz-Celorio

Marisol Ruiz Celorio holds a Master s Degree from El Colegio de Mexico specializing in Middle Eastern Studies, with a focus on International Relations and Gender. During her Master s degree, she was a visiting student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she did field research and took a course on Coexistence in the Middle East. She was part of the International Student Honors Program at Stanford University. Prior to this, she spent a summer interning at the Canadian Parliament in the office of a Conservative Party MP who was a sitting member of the Foreign Affairs Committee. Her project attempts to examine how the every-day interactions of women s lives have an impact in the international sphere.

Marisol Ruiz is now working as the Senior Communications Officer of Society for International Development and is closely following the United Nations Financing for Development process.
