Prashant Rathor

As a doctoral candidate affiliated with the Centre for East Asian Studies at the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India, Prashant's current research focus centers on China's Cybersecurity. Specifically, his investigation aims to elucidate the leadership perspective, intention, and challenges related to cybersecurity, with a particular emphasis on the pivotal role played by regulatory agencies in the realm of cybersecurity. 


Prashant's doctoral thesis, titled "China’s Cybersecurity and the Role of  Regulatory Agencies (2014-2022)," delves into the multifaceted dimensions of cybersecurity within the specified timeframe. His academic journey includes a Master’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Delhi and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honors) from the same institution. Furthermore, he has qualified for the UGC NET-JRF (2019) in Political Science, showcasing a high level of proficiency and competence in the field.
Parallel to his academic pursuits, Prashant holds the position of a cadet in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) during my undergraduate years. This role has been instrumental in significantly contributing to both his personal and leadership development. These collective experiences underscore his commitment to a holistic and multidimensional approach to understanding and engaging with various facets of political science, cybersecurity, and leadership.
