Fellowship
The Nuclear Security Program in the International Security Studies Program at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies invites undergraduate students and graduate students at Yale University to apply for a research and travel award for a project on nuclear security. Funds are available to support undergraduate students in pursuing a senior essay project or an internship, and for graduate students in pursuing a project for their dissertation or master’s thesis as well as any internship related to nuclear security. Awards range from $500 to $5000. Priority will be given to students who regularly participate in the activities of the program, and recipients of an award will be expected to participate in the activities of the program. Awards are to be used in the summer of 2025.
A brief written report of the experience must be submitted at the completion of the project. Recipients may be asked to offer a seminar or presentation of their field project results when they return to the Yale campus. Any publication or public presentations resulting from their projects should acknowledge the support of “The Nuclear Security Program in the International Security Studies Program at Yale University.”
